History

In 2008, Bonedale Bike Week was founded by Tracy Wilson, and Jess, and Dave Downing, as means to celebrate the bicycle in all of its forms. Since its founding many local champions have stepped up to plan, organize, fold t-shirts and serve coffee and donuts to the cycling-loving community that is Carbondale. Some of those most notable badass organizers are Morgan Williams, and Brian Colley who comes up with the best t-shirts each and every year. No, seriously, we're so lucky that Brian likes us!

Tracy Wilson, with the help of the community including, Brian Colley and Melissa Elzey still continues to organize Bike Week even though Tracy isn't very good at the downhill and is much better at climbing up rocks. Please reach out to the crew at bonedalebike@gmail.com if you want to get involved.
